On Fox News, Bill O’Reilly and Amanda Carpenter were more than happy to report on the new restrictions on YouTube, though without reporting on the the changes in profanity rules that are proving most controversial. funny when Amanda Carpenter said “youtube wants to compete with regular broadcast networks and if they want to ever get to that point they need to have broadcast standards” Youtube is already much bigger than regular broadcast networks and while there is a lot of crap on it you can at least see all points of view unlike Fox news which presents opinions as fact and clearly has its own political agenda. i think all FCC limitations on profanity, in fact on censorship in general should be removed once ALL television goes digital. because at that point…there is no longer the limited resource of band frequencies.
